One Response to “POST INDUSTRIAL MEDITATION by CASAGRANDE & RINTALA, ECHIGO-TSUMARI ART FESTIVAL, JAPAN, 2003”
Though these images are post-industrial, they remind me of Junichiro Tanizaki’s book In Praise of Shadows, which discusses the Japanese values of sublety in shadow, darkness, and patina. Lovely photos here.
